Shri Brajesh Kumar, Senior Executive Vice President, is currently heading Business operations in BSES Yamuna Power Limited with over 28 years of experience. In 2009 Sh Brajesh Kumar joined BSES and has worked at various levels in different departments prior to becoming Head – Business, BYPL. After completion of Post Graduation in Business Administration from National Productivity Council, Delhi. Mr. Brajesh Kumar has worked with Sales & Marketing in organizations like Hindustan (Aditya Birla Group), Sterlite (Vedanta group) & Jindal Steel & Power Limited before joining BSES Yamuna Power Limited. BSES Yamuna Power Limited is a Joint Venture Company with 50% stake owned by Reliance Infrastructure Limited & 49% by Govt. of NCT of Delhi, catering the power supply demand of 1.7 million consumers of East, North East & Central Delhi since July 2002. Mr Brajesh has been instrumental in Loss Reduction of the company, Digital Initiatives, Consumer Services, adoption of new technologies like Roof Top Solar, EV Charging etc. Mr. Brajesh Kumar has vide experience of EV sector to his credit. He is responsible for starting e-mobility in BSES. He is been instrumental in creating EV Charging ecosystem in Delhi & outside as well. Under his strategic guidance, BSES is able to install 200+ EV Charging stations / Battery Swapping Stations. He has also played important role as a stakeholder in formalizing the Delhi EV policy. He is driving new technology initiatives like smart managed charging station and RE supported EV charging station. Apart from achieving many firsts, He has the credit of setting up of India’s first smart managed charging station in Delhi and East Delhi’s first public charging station at discom premises. Mr Brajesh has Techno commercial exposure in multiple trader e.g.; Aluminium & steels, Telecom and Power Distribution. He is a proactive leader & planner with expertise in planning, market penetration, account management, Business Development, pre sales effort with skills in competitor/market analysis. He is an effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills. Have dealt with the customers in various market segments like OEM, Trade, Automobile, Electrical, House Hold, White Goods, EV CPOS & OEMs etc.Having maximum experience in sales & marketing during his past experience, Mr. Brajesh Kumar has the consumer focused approach and he always takes lead in giving better services to the consumers.
