Ankur Naik serves as the Director of Strategic and Corporate Affairs at Punjab Renewable Energy Systems Private Limited. In this role, he leads a diverse team of experts working on groundbreaking projects focused on sustainable biomass supply chain management, waste-to-energy initiatives, and developing next-generation biofuels. He is an Indian Air Force veteran and has multitude of experience in global policy-making processes and affairs and strong understanding of public policy through diverse perspectives, theoretical frameworks, and case studies in various domains of governments and think tanks. He is spearheading efforts in combatting climate change and advancing renewable energy in the Indian and South Asian Region. He is an ardent advocate for sustainable energy solutions and a forerunner in the fields of Bio-energy and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). He campaigns with all the stakeholders by fostering partnerships between governments, industries, and academia, to create a transformative impact on global carbon emissions for a more resilient and sustainable future through governance, international negotiations, climate change, adaptation, and mitigation.
