Since 2007, Cyro Vicente Boccuzzi has been the Managing Partner of ECOEE, an engineering and consultancy company focused on energy management and advanced technologies, a pioneer in intelligent energy system technologies. He is the founder and President of the Latin American Smart Grid Forum, an initiative dedicated to the implementation of new technologies in a sustainable way in the Brazilian electricity sector. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Energy Division, of the Infrastructure Department of FIESP - Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. He is an electrical engineer from Universidade Mackenzie, postgraduate in Business Administration from FGV, has an MBA in Finance and Business Controllership from FIPECAFI / FEA / FIA / USP and is a member and Certified Business Administration Advisor by IBGC. He worked at Eletropaulo, the energy utility that serves the City of São Paulo and vicinity, for 25 years, where he was Vice- President after holding several managerial positions. He was Executive Vice-President at ENERSUL, now Energisa MS, and Executive Director of the consultancy Andrade & Canellas, now Thymos Energia. He was a Director and Board Member of several companies and associations in the sector and was an observer for the Brazilian Government at ISGAN - International Smart Grids Action Network, continuing to act as a senior member in professional entities such as IEEE and Cigrè.
