Nishant Singh serves as the Senior Advisor for Energy Security and the Lead for Renewable Energy at the British High Commission in India. He plays a pivotal role in advancing renewable energy initiatives and decarbonization efforts under the India-UK strategic partnership. Nishant has been actively involved in programs like the Accelerating Smart Power and Renewable Energy in India (ASPIRE), which focuses on energy storage technologies and sustainable renewable energy integration. His contributions include guiding discussions on energy storage solutions, such as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and supporting the development of reports on emerging technologies like Sodium-Ion Batteries. Nishant's expertise and leadership are instrumental in fostering collaboration between India and the UK to achieve ambitious renewable energy goals
