Deputy Director, NISE

Dr. Vikrant Sharma is a Deputy Director at the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. Based in Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Sharma specializes in solar photovoltaic power generation and has a strong academic background, including a PhD from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur. With expertise in areas such as solar power generation, PV module reliability, and materials science, Dr. Sharma contributes significantly to advancing solar energy technologies in India. His work at NISE focuses on research, development, and policy implementation to promote renewable energy adoption
