Ms. Anjuli Chandra, an Electrical Engineer, MBA, and certified Energy Auditor, is currently the Electricity Ombudsman for Punjab. A 1978 batch IES officer and a gold medalist in both engineering and management, she has over 40 years of experience in the power sector. She has held key positions in the Central Electricity Authority, Punjab State Electricity Board, and Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission, and served as a Member of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission. She has contributed to power plant design, transmission and distribution planning, renewable energy integration, and regulatory frameworks, including multi-year tariff and grid codes. She has chaired several task forces and committees under the Ministry of Power, CERC, and BIS and authored over 75 technical papers. Recognized for her contributions, she has received awards from CBIP and the National Council of Power Utilities
