Senior Vice President, International Programs, Edison Electric Institute (EEI)

Dr. Lawrence E. Jones is a globally recognized energy expert with over 25 years of experience. As Senior Vice President at EEI, he leads international programs representing over 65 electric companies in 90+ countries. He has launched several strategic initiatives including the Global Electricity Forum and TENTIL Dialogue. Formerly VP for Utility Innovation at Alstom Grid, he also holds advisory and academic roles at Monash University, CSIS, and Boston University. Dr. Jones earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from KTH, Sweden, and is a Senior Member of IEEE
