Deputy CEO, Communauté Électrique du Bénin (CEB)

Agaté PALASSE is an accomplished electrical engineer and energy education leader with over 25 years of experience in technical project management and capacity building. As Director of CEB’s Professional Training and Development Center (CFPP), he drives workforce development for the power sector across Benin and Togo. He holds a Master’s in Business Management with a specialization in innovation and organizational development. Mr. PALASSE has led impactful initiatives in renewable energy systems, energy efficiency, power plant maintenance, and high-voltage infrastructure. He previously served as Regional Director at CEB and oversaw major grid and hydroelectric rehabilitation projects. A certified expert in energy efficiency and solar PV, he plays a pivotal role in empowering technical talent and supporting Africa’s sustainable energy transition through education and upskilling
