Mr. Mishra is the Joint Secretary – Distribution, Ministry of Power (MoP) Government of India. Before joining the MoP, Mr. Misra has worked in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. He is 2007 batch IAS officer and an exemplary member in the Madhya Pradesh cadre. Shashank Misra has served as the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited, Madhya Pradesh Building Development Corporation Limited, and Madhya Pradesh State Asset Management Company Limited. His credibility earned him the chairmanship of Ujjain Smart City Limited, and he also served as the CEO of Madhya Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority.
