Sanyukta Das Gupta is working as a Senior Advisor, Smart Power in Climate and Energy Team of British High Commission in India. She is the policy lead for Smart Power, Just Transition and Green Finance themes. She is also the thematic lead for Smart Power under the ASPIRE programme under which she has led multiple initiatives such as the development of IDEEKSHA platform, supporting the Smart Meter Implementation Programme in Andhra Pradesh, development of the Digital Utility Manger course for capacity building of DISCOM professionals, etc. An Environment Planner by education, Ms. Das Gupta has an experience of 14 years in the development sector working both with Government of India and civil societies in her earlier roles
