Deputy Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, GoI

Divyanshu Jha (IAS), is currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), Govt of India. Divyanshu is a 2014-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Jharkhand cadre. He has been serving as Under Secretary in MNRE since January 2022. Jha is an Engineering Graduate (Computer Science) from IIT-Kanpur. He had held various important positions in the State Government of Jharkhand as well as in the Central Government including Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate of Chatra, Director of Information Technology, Joint Secretary of Planning and Finance Department, Deputy Development Commissioner, Executive Director of Jharkhand State Aarogya Society etc. in the State Govt of Jharkhand and Attached Officer in National Health Agency, Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Urban Development in the Govt of India.
