Shishir is a technology and business leader with 15+ years of experience in innovation, R&D, product management, and strategy across technology, utilities, green energy, and automotive industries. As CTO of the EV & Energy Transition Business at Landis+Gyr Inc. and Subsidiary Director of True Energy A/S, Denmark, he leads product innovation, technology strategy, and R&D for electric vehicles and new energy solutions. With expertise in AI, digital twins, cloud computing, and IoT, he has launched global products and advised industry leaders like National Grid USA, EDF France, Shell USA, Tesla Inc., and BMW Group. Prior to Landis+Gyr, he worked with Itron Inc., MathWorks, National Grid USA, and Cognizant in engineering, R&D, product strategy, and management. A Senior IEEE Member, Shishir was recognized as a Global Innovator & Energy Industry Influencer (2020) by Energetica Magazine. He has published 8+ research papers, filed 4 patents, and is a regular speaker at top industry forums worldwide. He holds an MBA from Harvard University, an MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, and a B.Tech from SRM University, where he was honored as a Notable Alumni (2020). He was also a Visiting Research Fellow at MIT, focusing on smart grids and AI applications.
