With 20+ years in power distribution, Gaurav Kapoor specializes in planning, operations, and loss reduction. He began his career in metering at NPCL and Enzen, later leading billing and improvements at Tata Steel Utilities. An IIM Kozhikode alumnus, he transitioned into consulting, working with governments, private firms, and multilateral agencies across India, Africa, and South Asia. Currently, at RTI International, he supports USAID’s SAREP program, modernizing DISCOMs in South Asia. Passionate about IoT, smart grids, and digital transformation, he also runs www.powerdistribution.in, sharing industry insights. In his free time, he enjoys music, travel, and home automation projects
