Bindu Madhavi Polumahanti serves as the Director of Policy and Regulatory at the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA). In her role, she focuses on shaping policies and regulatory frameworks to promote energy storage solutions, clean mobility, and sustainable energy practices in India. She has been actively involved in initiatives like the National Energy Storage Mission and advocacy for state-level policies on hybrid power with storage. Bindu's work also includes addressing challenges in energy storage integration, supporting the development of battery waste management rules, and fostering industry-government collaboration to advance India's energy transition goals.
