Mr. Amarjeet Kumar is a serial entrepreneur in the field of communication, AI and Machine Learning field. He is involved in many start-ups helping solve the problems associated with Smart metering, Electric Vehicle Infrastructure, Smart Grid, and Smart cities. He is an engineering graduate in Electronics and Communication with over 22 yrs. of Industry experience in different communication technologies. He is an expert in the field of wired & wireless communication technologies and including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.15.4, ZigBee, Wi-SUN. Mr. Amarjeet is a pioneer in both standards based and proprietary solutions. He has worked in various roles in the Engineering, Product Management and Technology functions. He has a vast knowledge and experience as a Solution Architect and System Designer. He is also an active member of IEEE standards body and was the Vice Chair of IEEE 802.15.4u working group. He has been an active contributor in the development of communications standards and the specification of test plans for Indian National standard body BIS and a number of Smart Utility Network standards globally. He is an active member of Indian National Standard development (BIS) and convener for Last Miles Communication Protocol Stack panel under Smart Infrastructure committee (LITD28). He Also represents India in different IEC standard working groups. Being a founding member of Wi-SUN Alliance, he is also working as India Regional Coordinator of Wi-SUN Alliance, an industry organization which promotes inter-operable wireless communications products for Smart Utility Networks, Smart City and Internet of Things applications and which also require a rigorous testing and certification program to achieve its aims. He has been awarded as “ISGF President’s Award for Promotion of Smart Grid in India” for 2017. He has been awarded as “Top 10 Emerging Tech CEO’s of 2020”.
