Paulina Chromik is the Second Secretary Economic & Commercial Department at the Netherlands Embassy in New Delhi since August 2020. Prior to her posting to India she was working in the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality where she was coordinating the climate and energy dossiers. Ms. Chromik studied International Relations at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland and did Erasmus Program at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She started her career as governmental trainee at the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment in 2012. After the traineeship she got employed at the same ministry where she worked on the Environment and Planning Act (Omgevingswet) nationally, and on the European ‘Make it Work’ project with goal of streamlining of the EU environmental laws. In 2016 she made a switch to the climate department and since that time she is working on climate and energy matters, and sustainability. At the Embassy she is in charge of startups, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainable Development Goals, climate & energy and communication. She coordinates the work of the Embassy on green hydrogen.
