V. Manjunath is an innovation specialist. quality ecosystem expert and an environment conservation enthusiast. He is a Mechanical engineering graduate with master’s in quality management. Manjunath has thirty years of work experience in varied areas from designing of innovative products to development of standards to meet local needs of the market. With his deep understanding on Indian conditions, consumer expectations, Manjunath is focused on facilitating development of India standards through active participation in BIS Sectional committees, and other Standards committees of industry associations. He is currently the National Chair of ISHRAE Standards committee. As Regional Standards Manager – South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, at UL Standards & Engagement Inc., (ULSE), Manjunath is involved in spreading UL’s safety mission across the region through facilitating establishment of Robust Quality ecosystem through development and implementation of India specific Safety, security and sustainability Standards through global harmonization or by facilitating development locally relevant standards. He is Distinguished Member of Technical Staff - William Henry Merrill Society. Manjunath is also member of various sectional committees of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in capacity of convener / member.
