Aaron covers activity design, localization, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). He previously served as the director of the USAID Southern Africa Health Office. He has also served as the Director of the USAID Regional Office of Public Health in Bangkok, the Deputy Director of the USAID Pakistan Health Office, and as a health development officer in India. Before joining USAID, Aaron worked with UNICEF- Rwanda as a health project officer, supporting the Ministry of Health’s efforts to scale up pediatric antiretroviral treatment. He holds BAs in political science and history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MA in sustainable international development from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
